Definition of services!
Metta
Magic- full session Thai Therapy:
2 hours of Traditional Thai Massage- includes specific acupressure
to open energy pathways, gentle and rhythmic palming, stretching,
and guided breathing. Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing
for this blissful session. Recommended for first time clients, and
anyone wanting a complete experience.
Thai Yoga
Therapy- basic: 1.5
hours- similar to the full session, with out the full opening of the
energy pathways.
Thai Herbal Therapy:
include heated herbal compresses into your 1.5 hour session.
Benefits are the deeper relaxation of tense muscles, therapeutic
benefits for breathing, and deeper level of relaxation.
Touch of
Bliss Thai Therapy:
1 hour "teaser". Nice, feel good session. Suitable to those who are
in a hurry, or using in between full sessions on a maintenance
program.
Soothe your
Sole: a 45 minute
treat to your feet. Ahhhh
Thai in a
chair: a quick
session that takes place in a massage chair. Great for someone
unable to lay down on the floor, or for a quick feel good moment.
Guided
Partner Thai Yoga:
this is a workshop that you can attend at The Metta Center, or
schedule for your own studio. Talk to Lise privately if you wish to
schedule one of these.
Structurally Integrated Movement Therapy:
personalized therapeutic
exercise program developed specifically for Lise's clients. Often
takes place upon release from Physical Therapy or after first
session Thai Massage. Stemming from Lise's extensive background as a
Yoga Therapist, Pilates Instructor, and personal training
background- these sessions will involve the use of props
specifically needed to enhance strength, balance, coordination and
ease in the body/mind.
Holistic
Yoga Flow: a
therapeutic Yoga class suited for all levels. Gentle transitions
based on linking the breath with movement. This is not power Yoga-
but it is not always easy either. Life has it's challenges, so to
will your Yoga practice- particularly when you are new. However,
with practice comes greater ease and Lise will guide you there with
loving kindness.
Gentle Yoga
Meditative Flow: an
even more basic/gentle class than the Holistic version already
described. Nurture yourself. Do not expect to hold your poses too
long, and allow yourself to rest at any time. Lise teaches you how
to honor your body now, in this moment, with metta.
Ahimsa Room
Rental: you may rent
space at The Metta Center. Rates vary according to use and length of
time/commitment. Talk to Lise :)

Nidra session with Lise. Yogic sleep is deeply relaxing. Here's
